ATOL Protection
RED Tours Ltd holds an Air Travel Organiser’s Licence (ATOL) issued by the UK Civil Aviation Authority (CAA). ATOL protection ensures that your money is financially protected and that you will not be stranded abroad if the Company ceases trading. Our ATOL number is: 10967
When you buy a flight‑inclusive holiday from us, you will receive an ATOL Certificate. This lists exactly what is financially protected, what to do if something goes wrong, and who to contact if the Company stops operating.
For more information about financial protection and the ATOL Certificate, please visit the CAA website at www.atol.org.uk.
What ATOL Covers
ATOL protection applies to:
- Flight‑inclusive package holidays
- Some flight‑only bookings sold by ATOL‑licensed companies
- Eligible bookings departing from or returning to the UK
If your booking is ATOL‑protected, it will be clearly stated on your ATOL Certificate.
What ATOL Does Not Cover
ATOL protection does not apply to:
- Non‑flight packages
- Accommodation‑only bookings
- Ground‑only services (transfers, tours, excursions)
- Bookings made outside the UK
Your ATOL Certificate
You must check your ATOL Certificate carefully to ensure all services you have booked are listed. The Certificate explains:
- What is protected
- Who is financially responsible
- What to do if RED Tours ceases trading
The CAA requires all ATOL holders to issue this certificate immediately upon booking.
If RED Tours Ceases Trading
If RED Tours stops operating:
- The CAA will ensure you can finish your holiday and return home
- If you have not yet travelled, you will receive a refund for the protected elements of your booking
- Claims are handled through the Air Travel Trust (ATT), which funds ATOL protection.
