Day 1: London – Brussels: Orientation tour of Brussels
After a warm welcome from your Tour Director we set off to cross the English Channel to Calais. From there we make our way to Brussels, the Belgian and European Union capital. We begin our orientation tour at the Grand Place or Grote Markt, the central square of Brussels surrounded by opulent guildhalls, the city’s Town Hall and the Breadhouse building containing the Museum of the City of Brussels.
During the tour you will also see the Manneken Pis, Royal Palace, Royal Park, the Palace of Justice and the Museum of Fine Arts. Then on to a photo-stop at the Atomium, that was built for the 1958 World Expo. We continue our journey close to the French/Germany border where we enjoy an overnight stay.
Day 2: Black Forest, Rhine Falls and Zurich orientation tour
Today we drive to the Black Forest in the southwest region of Germany, known for its lush valleys and pine-clad hills. The Black Forest is certainly a beautiful place to visit. Some of the world’s best-quality wood products and the world’s prettiest and best-preserved forests are in this region. The Black Forest maids, Black Forest farms, Black Forest gateau, Bollenhut hats and Cuckoo Clocks – embodies everything that you might expect of a picture-perfect German holiday.
Our tour takes us to Drubba in the heart of the Black Forest to see firsthand how the famous Cuckoo Clocks of Hofgut Sternen are made. From there it’s a short drive into Switzerland and onto Schaffhausen to witness the stunning natural beauty of one of the largest waterfalls in Europe, the Rhine Falls. Later we continue to Zurich for an orientation tour that includes sights such as Bahnhofstrasse, the Gross Munster, the Frau Munster, plus the Rathaus and St. Peter’s Church. Then onto your hotel in central Switzerland to enjoy a comfortable overnight stay

Day 3: (Optional Tour: Jungfraujoch with Interlaken and lunch)
After breakfast, enjoy a day of leisure or join us to visit Jungfraujoch, also known as the ‘Top of Europe’. It is a UNESCO natural world heritage site and stands at a height of 3,466 metres (11,371 ft) above sea level in the Bernese Alps. The Jungfrau region is the most glaciated part of the European Alps containing Europe’s largest glacier and a range of classic glacial features. It provides an outstanding record of the geological processes that formed the High Alps. Tourists are often amazed at the scenic splendour they witness from the Cog-Wheel train that climbs up to a height of 11,333 feet to reach Jungfraujoch, the highest railway station in the world. The Cog-Wheel train is one of the most incredible train journeys in the world. The views of Switzerland from the top are simply breathtaking. Later we drive to one of the loveliest Alpine regions of Switzerland, Interlaken in the Bernese Oberland, in a unique setting between Lake Thun and Lake Brienz. Then back to the hotel to enjoy a comfortable overnight stay

The last leg of the ride is on the famous Rotair – the world’s first revolving cable car that offers an awesome 360-degree panoramic view of the snow-covered Swiss valleys, glaciers, lakes, forests, and mountains. Weather permitting you can also enjoy an exciting ride on the ‘Ice Flyer’, where you can witness crisp, virgin snowfields and icy depths – a truly amazing glacier experience.
Later, we proceed to Lucerne, a beautiful city located at the northern tip of Lake Lucerne, where you’ll see the Lion Monument called Lowendenkmal. Followed by a stroll along the banks of Lake Lucerne to attractions like the Kapellbrucke (The Chapel Bridge) and the Spreuerbrucke, two traditional wooden bridges of Lucerne.
