Day 1: London – Reims: Orientation tour of Reims
After a warm welcome from your Tour Director in the UK we set off to cross the English Channel to Calais. From there we head through northern France to Reims, not only the unofficial Champagne Capital of France but is also home to several UNESCO World Heritage listed sites. Here we embark on an orientation tour visiting sites such as Notre-Dame cathedral, the Tau palace, and the Saint-Remi basilica. Time permitting your tour manager may be able to arrange an optional tour (cost not included), of a local Champagne Cellar! Later we continue our journey close to the French/German border where we enjoy an overnight stay

Day 2: Black Forest, Rhine Falls and Zurich orientation tour
Today we drive to the Black Forest in the southwest region of Germany, known for its lush valleys and pine-clad hills. The Black Forest is certainly a beautiful place to visit. Some of the world’s best-quality wood products and the world’s prettiest and best-preserved forests are in this region. The Black Forest maids, Black Forest farms, Black Forest gateau, Bollenhut hats and Cuckoo Clocks – embodies everything that you might expect of a picture-perfect German holiday.
Our tour takes us to Drubba in the heart of the Black Forest to see firsthand how the famous Cuckoo Clocks of Hofgut Sternen are made. From there it’s a short drive into Switzerland and onto Schaffhausen to witness the stunning natural beauty of one of the largest waterfalls in Europe, the Rhine Falls. Later we continue to Zurich for an orientation tour that includes sights such as Bahnhofstrasse, the Gross Munster, the Frau Munster, plus the Rathaus and St. Peter’s Church. Then onto your hotel in central Switzerland to enjoy a comfortable overnight stay

Day 3: Glacier 3000 and Berne orientation tour
After breakfast, we proceed to Coldu-Pillon to visit the amazing Glacier 3000. Discover the new must-see attraction in Switzerland: The Peak Walk by Tissot (the only suspension bridge connecting 2 peaks in the World). Ascent to 3000m in just 15 minutes on the panoramic cable car and enjoy a breath-taking view of the 3 main peaks of the Alps: Matterhorn, Mont-Blanc & Jungfrau. On the Glacier, where the snow never melts, visitors can experience numerous activities such as Ice Express Chairlift, Snow Fun Park, Snowbus tour, Alpine Coaster (World Highest Roller-coaster) and even Dog Sled Ride! Next, we make our way to Berne the Capital of Switzerland. Not many cities have managed to retain their historic features quite like The Old Town of Bern which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It is also home to the 'Lauben' as the locals call it which boasts on of the longest weather-sheltered shopping promenades in Europe. Finally, it’s back to the hotel to enjoy a comfortable overnight stay.

Day 4: Paris: River Seine Cruise and optional evening Illumination of Paris
Today’s destination is beautiful Paris, to experience a panoramic boat cruise along the River Seine. These exquisite boats are entirely glass topped and specifically constructed to explore the breathtaking panoramic views of Parisian monuments such as the Eiffel Tower, the Orsay Museum, the Notre Dame Cathedral, Paris’ own Statue of Liberty as well as many other landmarks. Later, indulge in an Indian meal followed by an optional evening tour to discover the radiance of the ‘City of Lights.’ The tour will cover historic sites such as Champs Elysées, Arc de Triomphe and the extravagant Eiffel Tower. As the evening draws to a close enjoy a comfortable overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 5: Eiffel Tower and panoramic tour of Paris – Back to London
The last day of your tour will include a visit to the most famous attraction in Paris, the Eiffel Tower, from where you can marvel at the spectacular views of the city. On returning to ground we embark on a panoramic tour, taking OperaGarnier, Arc De Triomphe, Louvre Palace. We also visit the Musée du Parfum Fragonard a must-see among places to visit in Paris where we enjoy a guided tour unveiling the manufacturing secrets of perfume and its extraordinary history from Antiquity to the present day. Following our tour of Paris we head north, back to Calais and our channel crossing to England .
