How Do I Make Bookings ?

Option 1

Select the tour you would like to book on this site and Click on the book now button and follow the simple booking process.

Option 2

Call us on 020 3031 6996 and speak to one of our consultants who will be more than willing to assist you with your holiday requirements.

Email us at info@redtours.co.uk with your requirements and we will process your booking. Alternatively, download the booking form by clicking on the link below. Once completed either scan and email it to us or to: RED Tours Ltd, 327 Harrow Road Wembley, Middlesex. HA9 6BA.

Is travel insurance compulsory ?

As a responsible Tour Operator having adequate Travel Insurance is a condition of booking with RED Tours Ltd. If you do not already have travel insurance please visit our insurance page on this site. If you already have travel insurance please provide us with details for each passenger.

Do I need to pay the child fare even if he/she has just turned two ?

For any children over the age of 2 years, they will have to pay the full child fare. We are required by law to provide every child with a seat whether or not they use one.

Does an infant travel for free ?

No, there will be a charge applicable for an infant based as per the prices reflecting on the website. We are required by law to provide every child with a seat whether or not they use one.

When will the tour departure be confirmed ?

The tour departure will be confirmed when we fulfil the minimum number of bookings or 2 weeks prior to the departure date.

What happens incase if the tour departure is not operating ?

In continuation to question no. 5, if we do cancel the tour, you can either choose to travel with us on another suitable date or we will refund the amount paid by you for the tour.

What are the rooming types available for booking ?

Rooms are generally of small size in Europe, based on the number of people travelling, following are the categories of rooming that can be offered.

Single – one person only

Double – two persons sharing – room as one double bed

Twin – two persons sharing – room has two separate beds

Triple – three persons sharing – rooms has one double + 1 single bed or three single beds

What will be the approximate departure and return times of my tour ?

The departure time will be confirmed closer to the departure date. We usually arrive back to London between 2100 – 2200 hrs on the last day of the tour

Do you have any parking around the departure points ?

Unfortunately, we do not have dedicated parking for our clients at departure locations. Parking at our East London location at Tesco’s is strictly prohibited.

Can I join the tour in Europe or at the first hotel ?

You may join the group at the hotel on the first night however, we will not be able to offer reductions for sightseeing or meals missed on that day.

Why can we not have 2 different pick up points ?

There is a possibility that we would have more than one coach on many tours, especially during peak season. In such instances each coach will have specific pickups and therefore we cannot guarantee two guests bookings the same tour and date but boarding at different locations will travel on the same coach.

Are there hotels near the pick up points ?

There are hotels in and around the departure areas. If you would like us to pre-book accommodation the night prior to your tour please contact us.

Can you pick me up from somewhere else not listed ?

No, unfortunately this will not be possible.

Can you pick me up from home ?

This is not possible. However, a taxi can be arranged by us to the chosen departure point, at a supplement cost.

Will someone call me a few days prior to my tour departure ?

You will receive an email or call confirming your tour details and pick-up points.

When should I arrive at my chosen pick up point ?

Please ensure you arrive at your pick-up point at least 15mins prior to departure.

General Questions

What clothing do we need to carry on tour ?

Warm clothing i.e. Sweaters, Jackets are essential for the mountain excursions like Mt.Titlis and Jungfraujoch. Comfortable and sturdy footwear for the tour along with a cap and sunglasses (in places like Italy there will be walking involved). For churches and places of worship, appropriate clothing (covering knees and shoulders must be worn). Please carry an umbrella as it could rain occasionally. We would also recommend to carry a universal travel adapter.

What is the time difference between UK and Europe ?

Mainland Europe is an hour ahead of UK.

Is tipping compulsory in Europe ?

Gratuities in Europe are customary for services provided, for example the coach driver, local guides, waiters, porters, etc. However, we have included gratuities.

What are the meals like on European tours ?

All lunches are vegetarian/ Jain.

Typically – 2 vegetarian dishes, rice, 1 of chapatti/paratha/naan, 1 dessert, Pickle, Papad , Raita

Dinner has a choice of vegetarian / non vegetarian/Jain.

Breakfast is extended continental which includes bread, tea/coffee/ juice/milk, cornflakes, jam/butter, eggs and fruits. All meals are set Buffets / Table Service

Do the hotels provide free Wi-Fi ?

This differs from hotel to hotel, however, few hotels may charge for Wi-Fi service.

Is a physically challenged person allowed on tour ?

Yes, we do allow physically challenged persons on tour, however, it is the responsibility of the accompanying family member to take care of the person throughout the tour and necessary medications/wheelchair to be carried whilst on tour.

Can a pregnant lady travel on tour ?

It is highly recommended that you consult with your doctor prior to booking the tour.

What type of coaches are used on tour ?

Long Distance Air Conditioned Coaches are used for our tours which have comfortable reclining seats along with TV/DVD player.

What kind of hotels are used on tour ?

We provide hotels with minimum 3 star category for all of our tours which are located in the suburbs/outskirts of the city.
