Day 1 – London Airport
Meet your Tour Director at London Airport for to begin your wonderful holiday to sunny South Africa.

Day 2 - Johannesburg
Upon your arrival at O R TAMBO International Airport. Arrive in Johannesburg and depart on a private transfer to Park Inn Sandton or equivalent hotel.
Later depart for a Gold Reef City Tour
Overnight: Park Inn Sandton**** or Equivalent
Meals: Dinner

Day 3: Johannesburg
Breakfast will be served at the hotel. On our way to Soweto we pass by the National Football Stadium City, which hosted the opening and closing ceremonies of the World Cup 2010. We enter the Diepkloof area, where we will take a walk past vendors selling just about anything. In Orlando West we visit Vilakazi Street- drive past the former home of Nelson Mandela and past the home of Archbishop Desmond Tutu. You will have an opportunity to read about the Soweto uprising on 16 June 1976. On that tragic day an innocent little boy called Hector Pieterson gave up his life and kick-started the liberation of South Africa. During this tour we will pass by the Mandela House. A visit into the museum is optional. We continue our tour driving into one of the shanty towns where you get to interact with some of the locals.
By now you will have seen the good, the bad and the ugly facets of Soweto. We drive past the Soweto Campus of the Johannesburg University and end our tour with a stop at the largest hospital in the world: Chris Hani Baragwanath Hospital.
Apartheid Museum: After lunch we visit the world famous Apartheid Museum. Here you will learn about the history and struggle of South Africa during a decade of apartheid.

Day 4: Sun City
Breakfast will be served at the hotel.
Depart to Sun City. Drive time from Johannesburg to Sun City is /- 2.5 hours

Day 5: Sun City
Breakfast will be served at the hotel. Spend a leisurely day as you please. The magnificent pool area is surrounded by tropical plants and nearby is the incredible Water world and the Valley of Waves with its wide variety of water activities. Sun City is a sportsman's paradise, from the two golf courses designed by Gary Player to the tennis courts. Other sport activities include bowls, mini-golf, squash, ten-pin bowling and horse riding. There is also a gym and sauna for the more physical enthusiasts.

Day 6: Port Elizabeth – Kwantu Private Game Lodge
Breakfast will be served at the hotel. Depart to O R Tambo International Airport for your flight to Port Elizabeth Airport. Arrive in Port Elizabeth and depart on a private transfer to Kwantu Private Game Lodge. Arrive at the Lodge and check in. Lunch will be served at the Lodge – Time permitting. Depart on an evening game drive in an open 4x4 game vehicle. Return to the Lodge and fresher up for Dinner. Dinner will be served at the lodge

Day 7: Port Elizabeth
06h00 – Depart on an Morning Game drive in an open 4x4 game vehicle. 08h00 – Return to the Lodge and fresher up for Breakfast. 08h30 – Breakfast will be served at the Lodge. Depart for a City tour of Port Elizabeth. Arrive at the hotel and check in
Overnight: Kelway or Equivalent****

Day 8: Knysna
Breakfast will be served at the hotel. Depart on an overland to Knysna via a stop Birds of Eden and later for a City tour of George
Birds of Eden: The feathered inhabitants of the aviary are comprised of a mixture of exotic, as well as African birds (50/50). This includes previously caged pets, hand reared and imprinted individuals, which in turn explains why some of our inhabitants, mainly being the parrots, (of which we have 60 different species) are unafraid of human beings and seemingly tame. All new arrivals at Birds of Eden go through a process of rehabilitation before their final release into the main aviary. Most of the birds that arrive at Birds of Eden have a history of being caged in small environments.

Day 9: Oudtshoorn
Breakfast will be served at the hotel. Depart for a full day tour to Oudtshoorn is a town in the Western Cape province in South Africa. With 80,336 inhabitants it is the largest town in the Little Karoo region. The town is home to the world's largest Ostrich population with a number of specialized ostrich breeding farms such as the Safari Show Farm. Arrive in Oudtshoorn and depart for a full day Oudtshoorn tour
Cango Caves – the Klein Karoo’s oldest and most popular attraction…. One of the world’s natural wonders.
Visit the Safari Ostrich Farm – the ultimate “ostrich experience” with thousands of ostriches to view from incubation stage to full grown adults that visitors can ride. The farm has an excellent restaurant specializing in South African Cuisine, especially ostrich meat. It also boasts a curio shop including an excellent range of ostrich products. Lunch will be served at Safari Ostrich Farm
Cango Wildlife Ranch – here you will have the opportunity to view some of the animal species that inhabited the Karoo Region in the early days.

Day 10: Cape Town
Breakfast will be served at the hotel. Depart on an overland to Cape Town via Whale Watching in Hermanus – Drive time from Knysna to Cape Town is /- 6.5 hours
Lunch will be served on route. Arrive in the Mother city and check into your hotel. Later depart to Grande West Casino.
Overnight: Double Tree by Hilton or Equivalent****

Day 11: Cape Town
Breakfast will be served at the hotel. Depart on a Full day Tour of Cape Point, We flank the cold Atlantic Ocean en route to Hout Bay. Once a fishing community now one of the most popular residential areas, the harbour still has a charm of days gone by. Enjoy a half-hour cruise to "Seal Island" or for the not so adventurous the fish market "Mariners Wharf" is a must. We now continue alongside the Indian Ocean, and stop to see the Jackass penguin colony, which has become well established, at Boulders beach near Simonstown. Lunch.Afternoon travel onwards until we reach Cape Point and the Cape of Good Hope. Said to be the romantic meeting place of the two mighty oceans, the Atlantic and the Indian, Sir Francis Drake the Explorer once called it "the fairest Cape that we saw in the whole circumference of the Globe”. And rightly so, it must be the highlight of any visit to the Mother City, if not South Africa.

Day 12: Cape Town
Breakfast will be served at the hotel. Cape Town city Tour, Take the cable car to the top of Table Mountain (Table Mountain is weather permitting) for a panoramic view of the city and coastline. Continue through the historic Malay Quarter, past the South African Museum, with its famed Bushmen exhibits, the Castle and other interesting sights. Towards the end of the morning a visit is made at the Victoria and Alfred Waterfront. This is South Africa's most talked about tourist venue with many shops and restaurants. Later depart for a Robben Island and Two Ocean Aquarium Tour

Day 13: Depart Cape Town

Depart to Cape Town International Airport for your flight back home! –

Day 14: Arrive into London
