Here is some essential information and tips

The tour costs displayed in the RED Tours brochure are per person, based on a minimum of 2 adults sharing a room. Child rate applies to children aged below 12 years accompanied by 2 full paying adults. Infants are classified as below 2 years of age.

RED Tours coaches are comfortable, air conditioned with state of the art facilities including TV, DVD and WC facilities. On a rare occasion, we may be required to use smaller coaches and these may not have WC facilities.

RED Tours reserve the right to alter, amend or cancel itineraries as displayed on our website or in our brochure without prior notice due to unforeseen circumstances like natural disasters, heavy traffic, road works, bad weather etc

All our coach tours are managed by highly trained and experienced Tour Managers, who will guide you to new and exciting destinations with their vast knowledge and expertise. Our Tour Managers are the finest in the industry with years of experience. They are your guide and friend, allowing you the opportunity to Relax, Enjoy & Discover.

Please carry provisions for children and infants. Infant milk and baby food will not be available on coaches or provided by the Hotel. Guests are advised to carry ready cartons of milk and baby food whilst on tour.

It is recommended that you are well equipped with comfortable clothing and shoes. One set of warm clothing like a sweater or jacket are essential, along with sunglasses, cap and a pair of walking shoes – to be carried as hand baggage.

There are Optional Tours that can be purchased at an additional cost. If purchased while on the tour, payments for these excursions have to be made in cash. Please note that Debit/Credit cards or travellers cheques will not be accepted.

Some coach holidays require long journey times. It is therefore recommended you are well equipped with comfortable clothing and shoes. It’s a good idea to also carry drinking water and dry snacks.

Luggage allowance is 20 kg per person. In addition you can take a small carry on bag with you in the coach. Guests are responsible to carry their own luggage to and from the coach or hotels. RED Tours will charge a small fee for the driver to load and unload bags.

It is advisable to keep some local currency with you, especially Euros and Pounds Sterling. Most  countries accept credit cards, so we recommend you do not carry excessive cash.

RED Tours pride in their selection of quality hotels, that are 3* and above category. Usually the hotels will be on the outskirts of the city centre. All hotel rooms have en-suite facilities. Most hotels have a bar, restaurant and 24 hour reception facilities. Kindly note that European hotels are likely to have smaller room sizes then the hotels in other parts of the world. Some of the hotels may not have air conditioning. Check in times will be approx. 3pm and check out approx. 11am. Infant cots will require booking in advance.

Guests requiring single rooms will need to pay a single room supplement that is displayed in the brochure under tour cost.

RED Tours will not take responsibility for guest property and valuables. Please inform your Tour Manager if your belongings are lost or stolen. You are recommended not to carry any excess valuables.

The weather in Europe can vary and therefore you are advised to be prepared with the appropriate clothing and footwear, according to the destinations you will be visiting. It is always advisable to carry a light jacket during the summer and an umbrella. For excursions to  mountains, please carry a warm waterproof jacket.

You may carry your own wheelchair that is fully collapsible and motorised. The driver or tour director will be at hand to assist loading and unloading of the wheelchair from the coach, however, you will need to be assisted by your travel companion to push the wheelchair during tours. If you are traveling with a wheelchair, please advise one of our booking agents at the time of booking your tour.

RED Tours will not take any responsibility or incur any associated costs should customs or immigration authorities at any destination delay a guest during a tour. The tour will continue as scheduled.

Valid travel insurance is mandatory, and should clearly mention the names of all the guests booked on the tour. The cover should be adequate and cover all aspects of travel, with particular attention to repatriation and medical.
